Full Job Description

We are looking to hire an Assistant to the Director of Social Media Marketing to join our team. We need someone to assist in social media creation and posting for Kovihair.com and Tease Salon. We would love to find someone who can analyze our industry and find the best content to post across all social media platforms as well as create content with products, stylists, and staff. We are currently open to part-time or full-time placement depending on your experience.

ABOUT US

Hello! We part hair company- KoviHair.com; and part Hair Salon- Tease Salon. We began manufacturing hair in 2004 but changed suppliers and brand names in 2020. We have been working hard to rebrand ourselves over the last 3+ years and are now ready to have more help with out social media content and graphic design. Tease Salon opened in 2008 and currently is home to 24 hair stylists. Our work environment is on trend, fun and fast-paced. We are very well known as a high profile salon in Orange County.

LOCATION

We are looking for someone who can work in house to get to know the brand, staff, and stylists. There may be room for some remote work as well but we have seen the importance of connecting in person and find it extremely important. Our location is in Costa Mesa Ca where the 55 freeway meets the 405.

YOUR ROLE

Daily management of all social platforms/channels: Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
Content creation with hair products, salon and staff.
Brand content creation for all social media and digital campaigns for trade and consumer
Create and manage all Social Campaigns.
Content calendar management for branded social content- pro and consumer
Strategizes and collaborate with owner to manage/create/execute social campaigns for products
Organize, plan and execute photo and video shoots
Assist in online customer interactions including comment replying and DM's
Assist in creating and executing influencer relations and contracts.
Social tool platform management

YOUR SKILLS

Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Communications or PR preferred
Advanced knowledge in social media, graphic design and social video editing
Experience in Social Media Platforms and tools
Ability to follow trends and engagement to produce high-level content.
Graphic design experience with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Studio App.
Content Management and organization
Analytic/Data recaps + experience in Artist/Influencer relations
Professional Beauty business awareness/understanding/interest is preferred
Shopify knowledge is a huge plus
At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role
Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
Must have strong attention to detail
Clear communication and presentation skills
Excellent organization skills
Self-starter, creative, and highly productive and able to multitask
Must have a positive attitude
Excellent grammar and punctuation
Solid understanding of ecommerce merchandising, and marketing
