We are currently looking for result-driven retail Sales Design Consultant for our Sunnyvale location. Do you genuinely enjoy customer service? Have an eye for interior design? You have an understanding of the retail sales process and are familiar with consumer behavior principles.
You love connecting with customers to help them find solutions to their projects

You are motivated and driven and to consistently achieve and exceed your sales goals.

A typical day as a Sales Design Consultant at the Floor Store may include the following:

Actively seek out and greet customers in the showroom.
Work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions.
Team up with co-workers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Process POS purchases using QFloors database program.
Promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction.
Work with customers on special orders, returns, or exchanges.
Continue learning and staying up-to-date on product features.
Assist with maintaining the showroom’s visual appearance and high standards.

Eligibility Requirements

Proven work experience in Retail Sales (Home Improvement or Construction industry a plus)
Solid communication, written and interpersonal skills
Have experience and are comfortable with a commission-based pay structure
Availability to work flexible shifts
Proficiency in basic math and technology
Knowledge of flooring a plus!

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability to exert 20-60 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects
Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Compensation:

The first 3 months of employment are considered an introductory period. Compensation will be based on a guaranteed rate of $25-$35 per hour, determined based on experience, plus a reduced commission percentage. After the initial introductory period, the pay structure will change to a $20 per hour Draw Against Commission, with commission earned on a sliding scale. This structure offers you the opportunity to earn over 100k!
