What you will do:
Performs Quality Audits on finished goods (box audits), purchased parts, in process part and subassemblies. Measuring parts against specifications both supplier and in-house fab. Assist with MTR’s and FPR’s reporting to the area QE with feedback. Assist in the bond room. Use process improvement tools, process mapping.
How you will do it:

Read and understand Operational Method Sheets (OMS) and work instructions.

Performs partial disassembly of some finished good for inspection purposes by hand and with hand tools.

Performs operations such as drilling, screwing, and bolting necessary to perform disassembly/assembly work.

Uses tools and equipment such as special gauges, testing equipment, dial indicators, micrometers, measuring tapes, scales, venires, small hand tools, blueprints, personal computer and AS400 operating system.

Works individually at a preassigned audit station.

Ensures product quality through audits of manufacturing processes, quality procedures, work instructions, operational method sheets and product specifications.

Reports abnormal quality conditions, checks purchased parts and materials as required, makes out required tags and inspection reports, keeps work station in order and observes all safety rules.
What we look for:
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Three to six months’ related experience and/or training in a factory environment.

Microsoft office skills - Outlook and Microsoft Excel knowledge.

Understanding of calipers, micrometers.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and Operational Method Sheets (OMS).
