Job Summary:
The Corporate EHS Officer will be responsible for leading Limitless Solutions Group's (LSG) environmental, health, and safety programs across all operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the Company. This role is focused on performance in the utility, energy, construction, and innovation industries. It involves direct oversight of training programs, safety meetings, ESG, and the implementation of proactive measures to prevent accidents and incidents. The individual will act as the primary point of contact for EHS-related client inquiries, qualification questionnaires, and will manage EHS protocols for field and office environments across multiple states and business units. The Corporate EHS Officer will bring and develop a network of established business relationships to support the growth and development of the LSG Companies. This role is based in San Diego, California, with multi-state operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS laws, regulations, and standards at federal, state, and local levels, and maintain engagement with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies and management systems, aligning with corporate objectives to mitigate operational risks, including emergency response plans and continuous improvement principles.
- Oversee and enhance safety training programs, including hazard awareness, fall protection, CPR, and emergency response, ensuring staff are trained across all operational environments.
- Conduct regular EHS audits, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance and continuous improvement, utilizing key metrics to drive EHS performance.
- Lead incident investigations, develop corrective actions, manage safety documentation, and maintain records of training, certifications, and incident reports.
- Communicate EHS performance, updates, and insights internally and externally, developing tools like a monthly newsletter to disseminate information.
- Facilitate and direct safety meetings and training sessions, ensuring consistent safety messaging and compliance across the organization.
- Act as the primary liaison with legal and executive teams for EHS-related incidents and maintain active involvement in corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Manage EHS platforms and resources, and support the Workers Compensation process, ensuring an effective return to work program.
- Meet corporate EHS objectives, deadlines, and targets, driving optimal performance and adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction, Industrial Hygiene, Business, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
- 10+ years of experience in safety leadership roles within utility, energy, construction, or related industries, and experience working with large utilities and prime contractors.
- OSHA-30 Construction and/or General Industry certification.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, Fed-OSHA, state-run OSHA programs (e.g., Cal-OSHA), NIMS, and other relevant standards.
- Proven ability to effectively develop and conduct safety training programs and meetings.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on precision and clarity, enabling effective interaction with all levels of the organization and external clients.
- Ability to travel as needed to various company locations and project sites across states.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
