Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurologist to join our medical team. Talis Healthcare is quickly growing and looking to hire a full time 100% remote Neurologist in Florida to join our team. This position is telehealth and is responsible for administrative oversight . We are looking for someone who can provide compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida state statutes and Talis Healthcare bylaws.

Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific condition
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of neurology through continuing education
- Provide safe, comprehensive, and compassionate clinical care.
- Collaborate and confer with Nurse Practitioner/Infusion Nurse on staff regarding patient status, drug management issues, and/or treatment needs
- Provide patient education regarding disease state, medication regimen, and identification/management of infusion related symptoms.
- Document all interactions and communication with patients, plan of treatment, assessment, treatments, patient responses/reactions to treatment, status of disease process and training activities in a timely manner using company issued tools
- Complete training required for the position by the organization
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
- Valid medical license to practice as a Neurologist
- Strong knowledge of neurological conditions, treatments, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Competence in technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet and email; Home internet access may be required
- Meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements.
- Candidate must provide own malpractice insurance which will be reimbursed.
- Candidate must be credentialed and in network for the large payors in Florida.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Aliment diagnosis and treatment
- ICU experience
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Patient care coordination
- Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple disciplines
- Ability to be self-directed, extremely organized and detail oriented requiring minimal supervision
