What you’ll do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you can work closely with a top property management team, delivering exceptional service to our residents. Each day will bring challenges and require diverse skills. You will collaborate with your team members to assess and respond to maintenance issues, establishing a solid rapport with residents by being knowledgeable and friendly.
Your role will involve the following:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas.
Respond to resident service requests in less than 3 hours.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues.
Consistently exemplifying the Wasatch brand.
Embodying an owner's mindset.

Requirements:
At Wasatch Property Management, we understand that being a maintenance technician means leading by example and having a deep understanding of the daily experiences of your team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will actively work alongside your colleagues. You spend your day on-site performing scheduled maintenance tasks, responding promptly to service requests, coordinating with vendors, and fostering strong relationships with residents through clear and effective communication. Your role will involve becoming an expert in your community and collaborating with your team to ensure that the community is meticulously maintained for the utmost satisfaction of our residents.

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
Experience in repairing and or maintaining at least most of the following:
Electrical Systems
Plumbing
Appliances
Flooring
Carpentry
Heating and air systems
Pools

Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Superior customer service skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies
