Has 3+ years of legal experience under their belt at a family law firm;
Is comfortable working in a brick-and-mortar office or virtually (we’re a hybrid outfit these days);
Values being treated as an equal, doesn't need a lot of supervision to actually show up, get the work done, and hit goals; is able to communicate with clients, the team, and supervisors, and the owner; and is able to give us feedback and pushback on places where you see we can improve as a team and as a firm.

Compensation

Traditional lawyer compensation is boring. We’re seeking entrepreneurial lawyers who enjoy a bit of risk and reward. Our approach to billing is straightforward: your base pay is predicated on the value you bring to the firm initially. After that, we pay quarterly discretionary bonuses based on targets that include collections, firm procedure development, and new business that you generate. As long as you’re getting things done and meeting deadlines, you set your schedule (unless the court says otherwise or the team needs to see your shining face).
