Position: Real Estate Administrative Lead
Position Summary:
Support the Real Estate, Market Research and Store Development groups. Must have strong tracking skills and the ability to schedule multiple projects. Strong desire to learn and grow in the role.
Proficient in Microsoft software: WORD, PowerPoint, Excel. Experience in more advanced database programs a plus. Knowledgeable in internal Syspro, PeopleSoft, OnDemand, and Concur financial programs.
Role is office-based at AWG support center in Kansas City
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Real Estate
- Assist in the administration of all Lease and Sublease related activities and the property management of all owned properties for AWG and its subsidiaries.
- Work closely Lease Administrator to ensure the accurate administration of all Leases and Subleases.
- Ensure the timely payment of all rent, common area maintenance expenses, real estate taxes, insurance, percentage rent and other miscellaneous lease related items to the proper third parties.
- Create vendor billings, vendor expense vouchers and retailer payments in PeopleSoft.
Research
- Market Studies (PowerPoint). Work directly with staff in a specific step-by-step process, including:
- Screening with Real Estate team and Executive Vice President
- Screening package forwarded to Division for sign-off
- Work with analysts in compiling draft of market studies for final review/approval
- Follow appropriate market study distribution
- Billing process for Business Development, AWG divisions, AWG member and non-members
- Provide accurate period end and year-end budget report for Real Estate department
- License Review Committee packets (PowerPoint). Ensure step-by-step process completion
- “For Sale” packets (PowerPoint)
- Market Analytics packets (PowerPoint)
- Every other month provide analysts current version of TDLinx dataset for departmental use
- Ongoing communication with each Division for use of current AWG member dataset(s)
- Yearly billings for department software programs; Monthly billing for CoStar and TDLinx
- Submission of monthly expense reports for Directors and Vice President
Super Market Developers, Inc’s Duties and Responsibilities:
- Construction in Progress projects includes cost center tracking, payments of invoices, development fee(s), electronic filing
- Developer reimbursements and yearly payment of real estate taxes where necessary
Misc. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creation of OTs in PeopleSoft for misc. check payments/deposits
- Collaboration with Real Estate Market Research team, Director of Real Estate and Vice President on special projects and ad hoc requests
