We have an opening for a The CSM and Deductions Specialist will be the primary administrative contact for assigned clients and will assist with promotion entry and clearing within assigned clients trade managements systems. This role will act as the Client Services Manager and the Deductions Specialist for their clients. This position will work closely with our Clients, Customers, Customer Service, Sales Teams, and Business Managers and will report to the CSM Lead East/West.
Responsibilities
Serves as primary contact for select assigned Clients for administrative issues including deductions.
- Sets up and maintains client files in HFSM systems for their vendors
- Maintains regional and national sales manager list for their clients
- Maintains both regular prices files and customer on contract files for their clients
- Maintains every day and contract promotion files
- Notifies and keeps track of all vendor initiated cost changes
- Maintains Customer Service vendor minimum orders and freight policy and payment terms list
- Handles all administration at all customers on their vendors including cost changes, name changes, promotions
- Maintains and administers advertising programs, catalog work and other marketing activity at all customers for their clients including delivery on advertising material meeting all deadlines.
- Resolves any order and pricing issues for Customer Service
- Attend weekly Monday meetings to discuss problems, issues and projects
- Expected to participate in client meetings at HF
- Maintains Client item priority lists
- Maintains Client item attribute lists
- Take ownership of assigned client deduction portfolio
- Partner with Customer Service or Account Manager responsible for customer collections to efficiently co-manage overall account.
- Proficiency in assigned client trade management systems, meeting all client objections and expectations.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and customers and all functional groups essential to accomplish objectives.
- Ongoing process improvement focus making recommendations and participating in implementations to improve efficiency.
- Keep management apprised of unusual or non-standard issues, escalating when appropriate.
- Process UDR notifications and follow through to resolution.
- Other tasks/projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Strong verbal, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of Food Broker Business
- Ability to multitask and work well under strict deadlines

Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
This is hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in our Lisle office.
