Full Job Description

Implements the company’s financial policies and procedures.
Directs the accumulation, recording, preparation, and reporting of financial data; prepares, analyzes, and reconciles financial statements and related reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Develops, interprets, and implements systems and processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
Manages all budget process activities; forecasts all company operational and financial aspects.
Coordinates all internal and external financial audits.
Manages all accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing.
Provides analysis and evaluation of business strategies; assists with company strategic planning.
Supervises monthly balancing of books and monthly account reviews; prepares, analyzes and reconciles monthly financial statements.
Provides management with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress.
Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
Keeps up to date on the overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Ensures the confidentiality of all Accounts Receivable files.
Participates in quality improvement activities, as requested.

Education, Training and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent in Finance or related field.
Four to six years of related experience and/or training.
Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization.
Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.
Working knowledge of data collection, analysis, evaluation, and scientific methods.
Ability to work with all levels of management.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
Skilled in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office computer applications.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to both speak clearly and hear, as frequent use of the telephone is required.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must have sufficient close-vision capabilities and use of hands to perform computer tasks.
