Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging Department Manager for our Radiology Department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. Created to provide residents of Oakdale and the surrounding rural communities with access to superior quality medical information, treatment and care, Oak Valley Hospital District was formed in 1968 and has evolved to meet the changing medical needs of the local community. With a hospital and emergency department, skilled nursing facility, four healthcare clinics, occupational healthcare clinic, and an ambulance company, OVHD is well equipped to care of our incredible community.

Position Summary:

The Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging Department Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating the activities of the Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging Departments to maintain high quality patient care. The Manager is responsible for the Departmental Goals for Patients (Department Service, Patient Satisfaction, and Quality Improvement); People (Employee Development, Training, Recognition, Satisfaction, and Retention & Recruitment); Future (Budget, Cost Management, Revenue, New Service Development) and Community (Participation).

This position participates in Operational and Strategic Planning as part of the management team. The Manager assures that the department meets all regulatory requirements related to service area for DHS, TJC, and other as appropriate. Working collaboratively with others to meet goals and solve problems is a requirement of this position. Assumes 24-hour responsibility for the department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiographic Technology.
Minimum of five years’ management experience.
Minimum of three years’ Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging experience (prefer hospital experience).
Maintains current Radiologic Technologist with ARRT Licensure.
Maintains current California Radiographic Technology (CRT) Licensure.

Exempt Salaried position pay range: $145,000-155,000 per year
