JOB OVERVIEW
The Philanthropic Services team provides operational and client support across day-to-day operations as well as special and rapid response services to a variety of Foundation clients. The Philanthropic Services Coordinator, Emerging Actions is a new and critical role that will be responsible for the administration and management of the Foundation’s rapid response efforts, specialized clients, new initiatives, and c4 support. This position will require excellent customer services skills and must maintain a working understanding of the Foundation’s operational procedures and serve as a vital point of communication with fund managers, individual donors, and grantees.
The Coordinator will also provide backup and coverage support for other roles within the Philanthropic Services team as needed. A successful candidate will be a proactive, highly organized, and self-disciplined who is able to effectively work with agility, curiosity, and focus within a growing philanthropic financial enterprise.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Communications: written, verbal, and listening; managing expectations; understanding who are and the needs of key stakeholders; curious, asks questions early; anticipates and prepares next steps and outcomes
Technology: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM, and Financial Software experience and the ability to navigate and manage system and processes independently, efficiently, and effectively.
Client Services: responsive, solutions-oriented, good judgment, and decision-making skills with the ability to escalate concerns/challenges appropriately and in a timely manner

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary for this position is $85,000. This position will be remotely based, but must be located within the Washington, DC metro area. The role will require domestic travel, as needed, including the Foundation’s bi-annual retreats and in-person board meetings as necessary.
