Our services include parent education classes, Foster Care, Parents As Teachers, Behavioral Health, and Nurse-Family Partnership Program!
Job Summary
Support the total child caring function of Casa de los Niños by providing general facilities, vehicle maintenance, preventative maintenance services, including but not limited to minor electrical, plumbing, and minor housekeeping interior and exterior. The successful candidate must clean and maintain offices, communal areas, restrooms, and other assigned areas. Other work includes restocking janitorial closets, minor repair work, upkeep of equipment and grounds, floor maintenance, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation.
Essential Duties

Performs preventive maintenance on buildings and grounds.

Completes monthly preventive maintenance check sheets.

Performs facilities maintenance tasks and repairs.

Performs floor, carpet maintenance, and window cleaning.
- Performs special cleaning projects such as high dusting.

Performs vehicle maintenance.

Conducts preventative maintenance on vehicles.

Performs maintenance on food service equipment.

Receives and completes work orders promptly and submits completed forms appropriately.
- Maintains tools, repairs equipment, and keeps maintenance area clean and safe while maintaining OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and infection control standards.

Escorts vendors and contract repair personnel

Assists staff with moving furniture and storing items.

Inspects and restocks all paper products in restrooms.

Keeps inventory of all cleaning supplies and submits purchasing requests when supplies run low.

Recommends major repair work when necessary.

Performs duties as needed to support special events and fund-raising activities.

Sets up and wipe down tables and chairs, and other items in accordance with approved Conference Room Reservation form.

Other related duties as assigned.

Three years' experience in general custodial work grounds, electrical, plumbing, minor appliance repair, carpentry, grounds, and general maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Proof of COVID immunization.

Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Ability to climb ladder.

Excellent (English) reading and writing skills.

Must be able to meet training and organization requirements for the position.

Must possess or be able to qualify for and maintain a valid Arizona department of public safety level one fingerprint clearance card.
