Good Kids EduCare is in search of an Assistant Director who is familiar with Texas childcare regulations, organized and proficient. Job duties include: upkeep of student files, staff files, clock hours, answering phones, staff scheduling, parent communication, and assisting teachers as necessary. It will also include light cleaning and occasional supervision of children or substituting in a classroom.
An assistant director assists in developing and implementing departmental plans and goals, oversees daily operations, and ensures compliance with regulations. They undertake staffing responsibilities, and maintain event scheduling. Assistant directors create reports, represent the company as needed, and fulfill duties assigned by the director. They contribute to performance and operations management.
- Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position
- Experience in performance and operations management
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards
- Proficient in MS Office, relational databases and software (e.g. ERP)
- Outstanding communication and public speaking skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
