Summary/Objective:
The Merchandising Stocker is responsible for the planning, displaying, and allocation of merchandise in both new and remodeled stores. Strong communication & time management skills along with the ability to multitask are a must. You must have the discipline to meet work expectations with little contact with your direct supervisor. This position requires extensive travel (75% - 80%) sometimes with short advance notice, to our Texas/Oklahoma store locations included but not limited to: Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, South TX, Valley area and Oklahoma City.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Implement floor set package designs (planograms) that complement new merchandising strategies.
- Develop and implement visual merchandise standards, policies, and procedures of all assigned stores.
- Collaborate closely with Directors to ensure their vision coincides with styling and merchandising.
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with associates and all levels of management.
- Prepare displays format to promote products.
- Ensure that all displays have the correct information of code, upcs, description of the product, cost, price and photo.
- Take pictures of the products following the company standards.
- Send the displays to Merchandisers according to established deadlines.
- Follow up and offers solutions to any inconvenience of the displays. (Customer Service)
- Positive team player attitude and works well with others to complete tasks.
- PERFORMS ANY OTHER TASK ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR.
Requirements, Qualifications and Other Personal Characteristics:
- Reports to work with proper safety gear, neat and clean with well-groomed hair and acceptable personal hygiene.
- You will be expected to complete tasks in a timely manner while being more independent.
- Travel on an as-needed basis for a job is a MUST. You should expect to travel every week.
- Valid driver's license with good DMV report. (No DUI convictions)
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must have strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Works a 40-55-hour week minimum and has the availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as business dictates.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to function in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Satisfactory work and attendance record.
- Organization and attention to detail.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Graduation from high school or GED (desirable.)
- Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Office.
- Ethical Conduct.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and practices, including established safety practices.
Work Environment:
Work conditions are in a retail store setting. This position is very active and requires hand-eye coordination, repetitive arm and hand movements.
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to lift minimum of 20lbs.
- Ability to flex, kneel, bend and stoop.
- Work is normally performed in a typical grocery store interior/office work environment.
