Lifetime Green Coatings (LGC) is seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will be able to successfully identify and grow new markets and revenue streams for our company. Successful candidates must have a proven track record in Business-to-Consumer sales or Outside sales role; preferably in the home services industry. Successful candidates must also have a proven track record in maintaining key client relationships while identifying strategic business opportunities for LGC in uncharted industries. Candidate will be accountable for the full development of new account agreements specifically within the Residential, Commercial and Agricultural space while introducing our floor coatings services to markets where LGC has little to no presence as a Leader in floor coatings. Successful candidate will be responsible for targeting and building new relationships while being held accountable for the projected new business and revenue to be generated by the leads and contacts on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Candidate will aggressively pursue RFP opportunities for floor coatings product services for these new markets and will be skilled in all facets of the Sales cycle with a strong emphasis on closing the sale. Must have the demonstrated ability to meet and exceed business sales goals for the specific new markets expansion while maintaining current business partners.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Direct to Consumer sales: moving leads through the sales funnel. Leads generated from: digital and print marketing, canvasing and relationship development.
- Business to Business sales: develop strategic relationships with local builders and commercial leads.
- Self-generated leads through cold calling, handing out fliers/brochures, door hangers and developing relationships. Ability to develop and maintain a steady stream of new prospects, sale projections & analysis.
- Establish & manage new and existing key business relationships
- Develop Sales and market strategies to exceed the company’s Sales objectives through the development and expansion of new markets and revenue streams
- Collaborate and develop the overall implementation of new business into our company with CEO and other business leaders.
- Accountable for the successful attainment of budgeted monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong Business & Sales acumen and overall understanding of the Residential, Commercial and Agricultural Industries.
- Has worked in Business-to-Consumer or Business-to-Business sales roles. Preference placed on experience in the home services industry.
- Strong Business relationships with key decision makers in those markets a plus
- Strength in negotiations and relationship management essential
- Excellent Time Management skills
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficient in using CRM software to manage customer relationships and track sales activities.
