Providing tax expertise and establishing a strong tax framework within a growing US business
Passionate about Tax? We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and personable Manager of Tax who can help us deliver high quality support across direct, indirect, and cross border taxes for a growing digital communications business. Based in our New York office, you will be responsible for the backbone of tax management and tax compliance with one direct report.
As part of the Finance team, you’ll help to ensure that the business is appropriately structured to meet our tax compliance obligations and help prepare the business for new opportunities by ensuring the tax structuring is efficient and optimal. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with:
US Tax Compliance: Oversee all aspects of US tax compliance, including income tax returns, partnership allocations, sales and property tax returns, payroll tax obligations, and state reporting.
Technical Expertise: Provide tax expertise to US business units, addressing compliance and specific tax queries.
Workday Implementation: Play a key role in implementing Workday from a tax perspective, along with other tax systems like OneSource.
Liaise with external advisors: be the key contact for tax external advisors
Intercompany Transactions: Assist with transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions.
Group Tax Support: Collaborate with Group Tax Manager on reporting and projects.
Tax Provision Management: Manage the Group Tax provision process with external advisors.
Process Improvement: Focus on improving tax and finance processes, and develop procedures for income and indirect tax processes.

Bachelor’s Degree required from accredited university in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
Minimum of 8 years’ broad tax experience in professional / commercial tax environment gained from Big 4/ top tier accounting firm or experience gained from previous corporate group tax roles
Knowledge of tax requirements within the US
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000
Annual Bonus: 10%
