Overview:
Roselane Health Center by Harborview is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Scheduler to manage the schedules of our Nurses and CNAs. This person will be responsible for maintaining the daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for our nursing team in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain staff Schedules and modifies as needed
- Distributes revised schedules to appropriate employees and posts at designated areas.
- Track attendance monitor lateness and absences
- Track and post changes and approved trades in the absence of the Don or as delegated by the Director of Nursing
- Maintain timely records of call-offs; tardiest ; and early arrivals and coordinate daily with HR to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.
- Provide accurate and timely reports to DON, Facility Administrator, and HR issues related to staffing vacancies.
- Utilizes overtime and agency only when approved by Director of Nursing.
- Prepares nursing schedules and modifies as needed.
- Processes requests for shift changes.
- Maintains nursing assistant sign in sheets on a daily basis.
- Distributes the next day’s assignment before the end of the shift.
- Maintains attendance and tardy records for all nursing staff.
- Reviews time sheets/punch detail records each pay period
- Notify Director of Nursing of trends in time-clock punches (early/late).
- Makes necessary corrections to timesheets, with Director of Nursing approval, and returns to payroll clerk.
- Maintains current nursing roster with current home and cell numbers, if applicable.
- Assist in ordering supply for Nursing Department
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Nursing Home Operations
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Organized and detailed in work performance.
- Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.
- Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
- Comply with the Residents’ Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.
- Perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below.
- Perform Essential Duties as outlined above.
- Must have CNA certification.
- MUST have prior experience in LTC as a CNA and in Staffing.
- MUST be able to work under pressure and have the ability to meet deadlines
- MUST be flexible and able to work on the floor when need arises
- Prior experience and familiarity with the OnShift Scheduling system (preferred)
- Experience in managing over time is a plus.
- Have the ability to work well with peers and the public
- Professionalism in appearance and communication
- Ability to follow given rules and orders from supervisor

- Ability to multi task
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
