We have a wheelchair bound client that needs assistance by this weekend (July 13 & 14).
This client will need assistance in getting from bed to wheelchair and back. This client had a previous caregiver for 20 years, so the new caregiver needs to listen carefully and learn her routine as soon as she gives you instructions.
This job is for a caregiver that is comfortable lifting a paralyzed person to a sitting position, then assisting them to a standing position and placing them in their chair. The client's doctor said the new caregiver would need to be able to lift 30 pounds to complete these tasks.
I need to screen you as soon as possible and have you meet with our owner this week. Please only apply if you are comfortable lifting someone to an upright position in bed and assisting her to wheelchair - this is required. We pay $15 an hour and will have additional opportunities for you after this weekends' placement.
