Position Overview:

Radix is looking for an experienced Solar Sales Manager to lead our Phoenix sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training sales representatives, as well as overseeing their day-to-day activities to ensure the achievement of sales targets and objectives.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position based in our Phoenix, AZ office.
- Hours 9:00am-5:00pm with hour long lunch.
- $40,000-$60,000 base salary dependent on experience, plus commission
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
- Conduct interviews to recruit and select qualified sales representatives.
- Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit within the organization.
- Collaborate with HR to finalize hiring decisions and extend job offers
Training and Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales team members.
- Conduct onboarding sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, products, and sales processes.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to enhance sales skills and performance.
Performance Management:
- Set clear sales goals and targets for the team in alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators to assess individual and team performance.
- Take corrective actions as needed to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop sales strategies and plans that drive revenue growth.
- Implement effective sales tactics and techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion.
Team Leadership and Motivation:
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and high morale.
- Motivate and inspire sales representatives to achieve their targets and exceed expectations.
- Resolve conflicts and address performance issues promptly and professionally.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and forecasts for management review.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across departments.
- Represent the sales team in meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in door-to-door setting
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and best practices.
- Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Additional Requirements:
- Solar, telecommunications, pest control or home security sales experience preferred
- Appointment/lead setting experience preferred
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training sales representatives preferred
