Job Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our electrical testing and emergency services. You will work closely with the Office Manager, Engineering Manager, and Sales Manager to ensure seamless integration and coordination across all departments. While a strong leadership and operational management background is essential, knowledge of electrical and power service operations would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will be adept at driving operational efficiency, fostering collaboration, and enhancing client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of our electrical testing and emergency services, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely service delivery.
- Emergency Response Coordination: Develop and implement effective emergency response plans, ensuring the team is prepared and equipped to handle urgent situations.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Office Manager, Engineering Manager, and Sales Manager to ensure smooth and cohesive operations across all departments. Facilitate communication and collaboration to align operational activities with business goals.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality control processes to maintain high service standards and compliance with industry regulations.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control processes to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety standards and regulations across all operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and drive opportunities for operational improvements and enhanced service delivery.
- Vendor Management: Oversee procurement and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in operations management, preferably in a service-oriented or emergency response industry.
- Knowledge of electrical and power service operations is highly beneficial.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Experience in collaborating with multiple departments, including engineering and sales.
- Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
- Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure, particularly in emergency situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field would beneficial
