Maintenance Technician II
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II with experience in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical work, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to maintain, analyze, and repair complex industrial machinery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MECHANICAL:
- Read and troubleshoot from schematics, blueprints, manuals, and computers on all aspects of electronics, and test pneumatic instrumentation used in production.
- Completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements
- Adjusting and calibrating machinery to improve productivity
- Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Diagnose trouble from a predictive standpoint, and perform all mechanical operations necessary to modify, repair, overhaul, and rebuild all types of different and difficult machine parts and building fixtures.
- Ability to use machine tools, plant machinery and equipment, fixtures, process and special equipment involving layout and development, and bench.
- Use the lockout/tag out procedure properly and aid in operations in any problems they encounter with the system.
- Start up new and or repaired equipment and assures proper operation.
SCHEDULE:
- This is a night shift position typically working from 6pm - 6am on a 2-2-3 schedule
- A competitive wage and benefits package with a $1.00 shift premium for all hours worked 6p-6a.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Knowledgeable troubleshooting pneumatic systems is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- 3+years related experience in a manufacturing setting and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, mechanical and electrical schematics, and machine drawings.
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as using Ohm’s Law for troubleshooting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
