As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Oak Rocket's market reach and driving revenue growth. Leveraging your expertise in AWS Cloud Services and proven sales experience, you will engage with prospective clients, cultivate relationships, and identify opportunities to deliver value-added solutions that meet their business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and expand Oak Rocket's customer base in the AWS Cloud Services technology practice
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities through a combination of outbound sales efforts, networking, and relationship building
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments and solution presentations to articulate Oak Rocket's value proposition and address client challenges
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Inside Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Technical Account Management, to ensure seamless delivery of services and maximize client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in Oak Rocket's CRM system
Requirements:
- Must have 5+ years of demonstrated success in outside sales within the AWS Cloud Services or related technology sector
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for driving results
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
