Experience in an office setting or call center required.
We are looking for a phone receptionist for our busy and expanding ophthalmology office which handles 500 plus calls per day. The individual must have superb customer service skills, ideally an ophthalmology or medical background, pleasant voice, exceptional data entry skills, and enjoy working as a member of a team. The position entails answering phones, directing calls, scheduling appointments, light clerical work, and data entry. Minimum requirements: patience, reliability, flexibility, positive attitude, enjoys talking to people, able to work in a fast-paced environment. Individual must adapt, learn quickly, be self-motivated and retain information. Previous experience using Allscripts Practice Management System would be a plus.
