We are currently in search of an enthusiastic, professional Desk Adjuster. In this role you will…
- Maintain/monitor diary of claim files by collecting, organizing, and documenting all relevant information to ensure all files are handled and touched on a regular basis.
- Review Field Inspector’s estimate and photographs taken of insured’s property to prepare a report for third party administrator’s review and authorization (i.e. coverage, denial, estimate). This first report entails a detailed review of the events surrounding the insurance claim/loss and damages to said property per client’s applicable coverage review.
- Prepare applicable denial/partial denial letter(s) for carrier’s review and issue said letter upon carrier authorization.
- Review estimate with Insured to obtain an agreed price and a sworn statement of proof of loss.
- Review supplemental claims or requests for holdback.
- Provide exceptional customer service support to Insureds, Public Adjusters and Agents.
- Although infrequent, travel for educational purposes and occasional marketing.
- Other duties as assigned
