Receptionist Duties:
- Develops and maintains a good working rapport with inter-department staff, and other departments within the facility to assure that administrative services and activities can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the facility.
- Completes required reports, forms, etc., for the administrator as requested.
- Maintains confidentiality for all resident, administrative, and corporate information.
- Assist business office and staff.
- Assures that the administrative offices are maintained in a clean and safe manner and that equipment and supplies are also maintained.
Unit Clerk Duties:
- Fills and delivers routine and emergency requisitions from nursing and other departments for supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Receives incoming shipments and checks incoming merchandise against packing slips and purchase orders in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Organizes the storage of supplies and equipment inventory in a safe, clean, and orderly manner to ensure efficient handling and to prevent deterioration and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Picks up and delivers mail and performs messenger service for facility as directed.
- Follows all safety procedures when handling supplies and equipment
- Ensures all purchase orders are properly prepared, signed, and submitted as required in policies and procedures.
- Ensures that work areas are clean and free of hazards. Also that all safety rules and regulations are adhered to.
- Ensures defective equipment is identified for repair in accordance with policies and procedures.
- High school degree or equivalent with business curriculum required.
- Typing, filing, correspondence composition and computer skills required.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Must possess the ability to handle a variety of assignments, some of moderate complexity and requiring considerable familiarity with the operating details of the facility.
- Must have strong, positive interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate discretion in handling of confidential information.
