Position Summary:
Coordinate Furniture and Warehouse materials for campuses and Corporate offices. This includes inventory of received items, processing orders, working with vendors such as shipping, receiving, and/or the re-routing of packages and materials. Associate will maintain a clutter free environment, clean the warehouse daily, ensure safety hazards are cleaned up and/or reported as soon as possible, and provide great customer service. This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and Production/Distribution Manager.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification
● High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
● Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds regularly.
● Must be able to unload and load boxes of various weights.
● Must be able to stock, climb, walk, bend, and carry items regularly.
● Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
● Prior knowledge of UPS WorldShip (preferred)
● Experience with Google applications (preferred)
● Excellent customer service & communication skills.
● Basic math and recording abilities

● Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to learn new styles, techniques, and tools
● Ability to communicate well with team members
● Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
● Must be familiar with Windows operating system

Responsibilities and Duties:
● Process customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved,
gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
● Use the company inventory control system to enter inventory of received items.
● Conduct regular audits of Furniture inventory and identify items low in stock.
● Receive, prepare, and process incoming orders.
● Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, aisles, and workstations
neat; maintain a clean area by sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
● Receive on materials delivered and work with the Facilities department on ordering new
materials.
● Move materials and items from receiving or shipping areas
● Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, according to predetermined places.
● Record the amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer
programs.
● Weigh and count items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance to
company standards.
● Provide great customer service to all customers and vendors.
● Maintain adequate stock of consumable supplies such as tape, boxes, and office items.
● Report any computer/equipment issues to the IS or Warehouse Supervisor.
● All other duties as assigned
Equipment Used:
● Walk behind Stacker Forklift.
● All equipment required to perform jobs duties and task previously described.
Physical / Environmental Factors:
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to fully perform the essential functions of this position. This position may require prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull small items up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Other physical demands may include hand and eye coordination, manual dexterity, visual acuity, speech and hearing, repetitive motion, climbing, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, balancing, occasional prolonged or irregular hours, and driving to perform essential functions. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record will be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
