The Property Manager will also be responsible for the supervision and motivation of the onsite property team. Duties:
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of a Property Manager are as follows:
- Manage the financial performance of the property by overseeing rents, occupancies and expenditures.
- Supervise resident retention, renewal and leasing programs to maintain maximum occupancy.
- Manage tenant relations, including inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with Company policy, as well as federal and local regulations.
- Manage, train and counsel onsite staff effectively.
- Implement Yardi Voyager software for efficient property management operations
- Analyze monthly performance and budget projections, discuss strategies with the Regional Property Manager and complete annual asset business plans and budget forecasts.
- Oversee property maintenance and repairs, coordinating with vendors and contractors
- Audits and adheres to lease file policy with consistency
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- -Previous experience in customer service within the affordable housing industry is preferred
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is a must have
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in office(word, excel) & Adobe software applications for file management and data entry
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures related to property management
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, and team members
