== Job Duties ==
- Implementing Therapy Plans: Carry out individual or group therapy sessions with students targeting specific speech or language goals.
- Monitoring Progress: Help track and document students' progress during therapy sessions, providing valuable feedback to the supervising SLP.
- Creating and Preparing Materials: Assist in creating or preparing therapy materials, visual aids, and resources to support students' learning and development.
- Providing Classroom Support: Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement strategies that facilitate speech and language skills within the classroom environment.
- Assisting with AAC Devices: Support students with communication challenges in using and maintaining these devices.
- Supporting Home Practice: Work with students to ensure that therapy goals are reinforced through activities at home.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
Preferred candidates:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy
- Must be currently registered/licensed
- Must be able to pass and obtain applicable background check and fingerprint clearance to work in an educational setting
- Must have own laptop
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility
- Maintains professional working relationships with all team members
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
