Taylor AFS, a foodservice equipment distributor representing two of the industry’s most respected brands (“Taylor” and “Henny Penny”) is looking for a Brand Manager to help us nurture and grow our established business providing equipment that generates very attractive profit margins for our customers. Taylor AFS offers a supportive culture providing restaurant equipment sales and service in Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland, Central Pennsylvania and close-in portions of West Virginia and Delaware. Our customer base includes the world’s largest restaurant and grocery store chains and the aspiring independent foodservice entrepreneurs. To thrive in this VP of Sales seat, you need to be highly motivated, have excellent communication and relationship building skills, and the ability to collaborate with our external sales force (our network of Foodservice Equipment Dealer’s Sales Representatives). Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established customer base by cultivating lasting relationships with customers and partners.
- Support a network of Foodservice Equipment Dealers by assisting them with sales calls, preparing quotations and helping them promote our equipment through demonstrations in our live action Restaurant Simulator Demonstration Kitchen.
- Provide ongoing support of a small, successful regional sales team.
- Make sales calls, identify prospects, install tactical sales focus, and network at all industry levels.
- Develop the skill and art of consultative selling to promote the value and ROI of our products.
- Demonstrate our products in our state-of-the-art showroom kitchen to excite, educate and motivate potential customers to purchase our equipment.
- Become a sustaining resource and a go-to person for years to come.
Qualifications
- Has an established and proven history of meeting sales targets and/or growing a territory.
- Is a self-starter who is hard working, outgoing and motivated, who combines good communication, organizational and consultative selling skills, along with the desire to enjoy what you do every day.
- Is a team player with the ability to instill trust in the people with whom they work as a standing member of the company Leadership Team.
- Is excited about providing product demonstrations in our state-of-the-art demo kitchen. If you are interested in all things related to the foodservice industry, this is the position for you!
- Is motivated to learn about our products and our industry and understanding what sets us apart from our competition in order to make educated and informed recommendations to your prospects and customers.
