Full Job Description
Busy Orthopedic practice seeks experienced medical call center representative for a fast paced call scheduling department.
New England Orthopedic Surgeons is a physician owned private practice specializing in orthopedic care and is affiliated with Baystate Medical Center. Candidate must exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills with professionalism and efficiency. Duties include but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Answer multi line telephone system in a call center environment
- Professionally and accurately triage all incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers.
- Accurately process all patient and provider messages.
- Schedule, reschedule and cancel patient appointments.
- Accurately register patients within practice management software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Maintain and respect all patient confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the Central Scheduling Department.
Requirements:
- Medical Office Experience
- HIPAA Knowledge
- Experience with Medical Office and EMR Software
- Ability to Work in a Team Setting
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Call Center Experience a Plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
