Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description:
The Project Manager provides direction for all aspects of assigned projects, managing project costs to ensure completion within budget expectations, developing the project schedule in critical path steps & budget time required to meet deadlines, and providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with all quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the proper management of several projects at once
- Manage compliance with contracts, specifications, and regulations.
- Project start-up activities
- Subcontract negotiations
- Scheduling and coordination of subcontracts
- Project cost accounting
- Building materials procurement
- Submittals, RFI’s, and Change order processes
- Liaison with GCs, Architects, Suppliers, Superintendents, etc.
- Track projects ensuring they are on time and on budget
- Identify and prepare change orders
- Preparing monthly payment applications
- Maintain good relations with clients and their agents
Experience:
- 5+ years in underground utility construction (residential, commercial, TxDOT, and municipal) as a project manager, or similar role
Education:
- 4-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field (Preferred but not required if experienced)
Required Skills:
- Organized
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook

- Able to read and interpret construction plans and related documents
- Familiar with permitting processes for construction
- Effectively communicate with clients, municipalities, engineers, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
