Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Utilize Sage software for bookkeeping tasks
- Conduct 10-key typing for efficient data entry
- Record journal entries accurately and timely
- Implement double-entry bookkeeping methods
- Manage governmental accounting procedures
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain financial records
- Apply technical accounting knowledge to resolve complex issues
- Handle accounts payable duties with attention to detail
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in bank reconciliation processes
- Experience using Sage software for bookkeeping tasks
- Strong 10-key typing skills for data entry accuracy
- Knowledge of journal entries and double-entry bookkeeping principles
