Experienced ERP Specialist to help lead Tribar’s transition from a dual ERP environment (IQMS and Plex) to a single IQMS-based environment.
This position requires an exceptional understanding of manufacturing business systems, an appreciation of the complexities of migrating data between ERP systems and the management of change driven by such a migration on operational activities. With the migration to a single ERP, work will be standardized across the sites and functional activities, requiring detailed planning, preparation and coordination to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- IQMS ERP System Champion: Assist with the migration of existing Plex-based sites to IQMS. Support upgrade of existing IQMS system to latest release level. Ongoing support and implementation of operational improvements in the IQMS-based business unit.
- PLEX ERP Support: Daily support for Plex ERP systems at three sites. Responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting system issues, assisting functional activities in problem resolution and as required, training.
- Support deployment of a centralized common network infrastructure and processes across all Tribar sites, ensuring each site adheres to enterprise infrastructure and security standards.
- Assist in the development and execution of site-specific Project Plans. Track variances from the plan and implement changes as necessary to ensure each project task is completed on time and within cost and quality objectives.
- Overseeing technical support for end users which includes:
- Assisting Level 1 technical support staff
- Monitoring and prioritizing incoming helpdesk calls and tickets
- Security Administration
- Level 2 application software support
- Oracle Administration
Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:
- Deploy Standardized Business Solutions – Define and apply ERP-based standardized work solutions across sites. Work cross-functionally to ensure measures of operational effectiveness, quality, customer satisfaction and financial performance are accurately captured and reported.
- Project/Program Management – Knowledge of principles, theories, practices, and techniques for managing the activities related to planning, managing and implementing projects and programs. Ability to define expectations and set direction clearly with a focus on minimizing errors and keeping tasks and responsibilities clear and on schedule.
- Effective Team Management – An ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships and alliances across functional and organizational boundaries. Developing and maintaining a productive working relationship with Tribar leadership teams. A willingness to confront problems as well as make organizational values and expectations clear to others with long-term good of the organization in mind.
- Adaptive Risk Management – Recognize the implications/consequences of situations or changing conditions and initiate appropriate responses to remove obstacles and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
· Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another related field.
· Five or more years of experience in IT demonstrating skills in maintaining and implementing manufacturing-oriented systems, project management and systems development.
· Effective communication skills to facilitate the building of effective cross-functional teams to develop IT-based solutions for complex business problems.
