Our client is a worldwide market leader in the SaaS transportation management industry and is hiring for a VP, Business Development in the NYC area. This is an individual contributor sales role.
Essential Requirements:

Grasping Airline Customer Needs: Utilize key airline relationships to provide comprehensive information on the technical facets and efficiencies of technology, ensuring it aligns with customer requirements.

Onboarding New Prospects: Concentrate on securing new prospects by conducting discovery workshops to reveal the need for solutions and guide them through SaaS and service offerings.

Sales Pipeline Management: Actively and systematically maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady stream of opportunities.

Business Solicitation: Efficiently handle the solicitation of business from new and existing accounts to surpass individual and company revenue goals.

Client Relationship Cultivation: Arrange regular client meetings and social events to reinforce partnerships, ensuring each client’s needs and expectations are fully understood and met.

Client Presentations and RFPs: Engage in crucial client presentations, RFPs, and the development of business cases and strategies to secure new business.

Professional Growth: Preserve professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, building personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

CRM Oversight: Guarantee accurate tracking within the CRM of all opportunities and activities, providing clear visibility and management of sales processes.

Collaboration with Marketing and Sales Ops: Collaborate with marketing and sales operations to develop compelling presentations for client solicitations and maintain alignment with sales strategies.
Base salary: up to $175k
OTE: up to $330k
Car allowance, 20% travel requirement, NY territory
