Description:
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, HVAC, basic carpentry, food & beverage equipment, fueling equipment and other site and building systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Performs general maintenance and repairs that do not require a specialized technician - examples may include HVAC filter changes, light bulb replacement, beverage equipment and product line repairs, fuel nozzle/hose/filter replacement, replacing ceiling tiles, drywall repairs, painting and other building fixtures

Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems

Fabricates and repairs shelving, fencing, trim and other wooden structures

Inspects, tests and repairs c-store equipment which includes determining and resolving the cause of malfunction

Provides troubleshooting of equipment by inspecting and diagnosing possible cause using equipment manuals as needed

Dismantles equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts when required

Starts equipment to test their performance

Performs all repairs safely, effectively and efficiently

Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities

Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance

Contacts Field Maintenance Manager when problems require outside contractor assistance

Utilize technology solutions to update work order status, parts used, etc.

On-call after hours and weekends emergency maintenance

Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking

Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces

Able to work in warm or cool environments – warehouse, coolers and outdoors
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Able to drive a forklift, preferred but not required

Able to drive a company vehicle
