We value integrity, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team.
Job Description: The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for corresponding with customers via email and phone regarding past due balances, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, cash receipt postings, and reconciliation of accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve billing issues and answer inquiries.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve and streamline accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Site Service, is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
