Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and medical offices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, IV infusions, and suture removal.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and treatments.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Proficiency in medical office procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine and emergency care in a Level II Trauma Center.
- Ability to work in diverse healthcare settings including long-term care facilities and nursing homes.
- Competency in administering medications via inhalation and IV infusion.
