Job Title: General Dentist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team and provide exceptional oral care to our patients. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in various dental procedures, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to patient wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Perform comprehensive dental examinations to diagnose oral health issues. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history. Administer anesthetics as required for pain management during procedures. Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and tooth restoration. Educate patients about oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Treatment and Procedures: Conduct regular dental cleanings and periodontal treatments. Fabricate dental prosthetics, such as dentures, bridges, and crowns. Perform cosmetic dental procedures, including teeth whitening and veneers. Monitor and manage orthodontic treatments as needed. Collaborate with dental specialists when necessary for complex cases.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes. Document treatment procedures, recommendations, and outcomes. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for record-keeping and patient confidentiality.
Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Operate and maintain dental equipment, including Xray machines and diagnostic tools. Ensure a clean, organized, and sterile working environment. Manage inventory of dental supplies and order new materials as needed.
Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental techniques, technologies, and trends. Attend workshops, conferences, and seminars to enhance professional knowledge and skills. Implement new practices and procedures to improve patient care and clinic efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Active state dental license and in good standing.
- Proven experience as a practicing Dentist.
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, oral health, and treatment options.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with dental specialists.
- Proficiency in using dental software and technology for record-keeping and treatment planning.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
