Lean Manufacturing Area Project Manager

Watermark Designs invites you to join us on an exciting journey of elevating luxury kitchen and bathroom fixtures to new heights. As the Lean Manufacturing Area Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of optimizing and expanding our manufacturing facilities using Lean principles. This role involves leading the transition of warehouse operations to an adjacent newly acquired 50,000 sq ft building and driving the reorganization and enhancement of our existing 70,000 sq ft manufacturing space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dynamic Project Leadership:
- Develop and execute a project plan for the manufacturing area build-out, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Apply Lean principles to streamline processes, lead Kaizen events, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct insightful value stream mapping to enhance the flow of materials and information.
- Collaboration and Optimization:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to embed Lean principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work closely with operations teams to implement Lean tools for process improvements.
- Recommend enhancements for layout, safety, and technology upgrades, leveraging equipment expertise.
- Empowering Teams:
- Provide inspiring training on Lean principles, empowering teams to actively engage in improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive project management experience in manufacturing with a focus on Lean principles.
- Proven track record in leading manufacturing facility expansions and implementing Lean methodologies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and technology upgrades.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- MS Project, ASANA, or similar
- CAD Software SolidWorks or similar
- MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior Manufacturing cell design
· Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
· Proficient in both English and Spanish

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
