POSITION OVERVIEW:
In this capacity you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the day to day operation of the restaurant assuring employee retention and development, achieving company profit goals, as well as, assuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all company policies are adhered to.
- Optimize profit margins by controlling costs.
- Hire, train and develop new employees.
- Interface and resolve customer issues to their satisfaction.
- Order, receive, and rotate product as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, hygiene, and health& safety regulations.
- Process payroll for all staff.
- Oversee new employee on-boarding.
- Manage and process vendor invoices.
- Engage with guests to ascertain feedback regarding menu items and desires foe future item considerations.
- Assist where needed to assure smooth shift operation.
- Any and all other reasonable duties as assigned by General Manager.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Prior experience as Restaurant Assistant Manager, or extensive experience in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of restaurant management software.
- Good math skills.
- Exceptional customer service attitude.
- Ability to work night, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extensive periods of time.
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize during periods of stress, while remaining patient and focused.
- Strong organizational skills, as well as, self in initiative to anticipate guest needs
- Any and all other reasonable assigned duties as required by the General Manager.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma, additional certification in Hospitality preferred.
- Prior Restaurant Assistant Management experience, or extensive experience
- A strong passion to please and work in a team environment to provide award winning experiences to our guests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
