Acton Veterinary Clinic is seeking a team member to join us in our one Dr. low stress , supportive practice. We have cultivated an environment of quality veterinary care that also cares for our staff. Looking for an individual that will be a good fit for our close knit team.
Key Responsibilities :
Restrain patients for doctor exams, blood draws and treatments.
Able to perform or assist with radiography, inpatient treatments, blood draws and IV catheters.
Anesthesia induction, monitoring vitals and recovery of anesthetized patients for our two surgery days a week.
Perform dental x-rays and dental cleaning.
Efficiently run lab tests using our in house analyzer.
Clean and sterilize surgical packs and equipment.
Maintain paperless medical records.
Oversee the flow of patient exams , obtain histories and educate clients
Requirements:
1-2 years experience in a veterinary hospital or emergency clinic required
Detailed orientated and organized
Self-motivated and able to work without constant direction
Friendly and positive attitude
Able to lift up to 40 lbs
Able to work 30-40 hours a week plus some Saturdays ( Saturday hours are 8-1 pm)
Rabies vaccinated a plus but can be provided.
