Polsinelli is looking for a qualified eBilling Assistant to join our team in one of the following offices: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, New York, Kansas City or St. Louis (Clayton).
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing the eBilling Inbox
- Handle emails related to matter budget, route to eBilling Specialist, and add budget due date to the eBilling Calendar
- Manage client accruals request - forward unbilled time report to Billing Attorney for review and approval, and submit via the client’s eBilling portal to meet the client’s deadline
- Notify assigned eBilling Specialist of incomplete matter profile for attorney’s review
- Review eBill rejection notices and forward to assigned eBilling Specialist, including rejection details
- Pull details of short paid eBills and forward a summarized version to assigned eBilling Specialist for discussion with Billing Attorney; further assist with appeal submission as needed
- Coordinate with eBilling Specialist on New Matter activation on client’s eBilling portal, and assist with connecting with client for eBilling portal access
- Assist eBilling Specialists with status of eBills by navigating BillBlast and various eBilling vendor portals
- Forward new matter activation notices to assigned eBilling Specialist
- Action requests from Billing Coordinators, Collections team and Billing Attorneys, on status of eBills
- Assist eBilling department team members with monthly tasks, including eBilling submissions, and special projects
- Work effectively with all Finance & Accounting functions to deliver high quality, accurate, timely, seamless service to attorneys and clients, in accordance with established firm policies
- Provide proactive support within the department (i.e. offer assistance with special projects)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word & Excel
- Employees approved for flexible work arrangements are expected to be available and maintain a practice of reliable, consistent attendance at all times during the employees scheduled work shift including, but not limited to, Zoom, email and voicemail, and by phone.

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of Excel. Previous eBilling experience in a law firm environment.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.
