Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to ensure the efficient operation of the Human Resources and EH&S Departments. Supports team members through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Requires fluency in written and verbal English as well as Spanish.
Job Responsibilities:
- Translates training materials from English to Spanish.
- Provides support for the Human Resources and EH&S Departments.
- Organize and schedule meetings.
- Produce and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, faxes and forms.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Develop and maintain a filing system (paper and electronic).
- Order office supplies.
- Book travel arrangements.
- Submit and reconcile expense reports.
- Provide general support to team members in the HR Department.
- Research and create presentations.
- Generate reports.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- Requires fluency in written and verbal English and Spanish.
- Manufacturing industry experience a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with departments/associates across Company.
- Proactive mindset that seeks continuous process improvement.
- Ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strong focus and commitment to deliver results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated clarity in spoken and written words.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Casual business office environment.
