Salary Range $60,000 - $75,000 based on experience
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with three years of full time wage earning experience with in the past eight years in Welding occupation; or
- An associates degree from an accredited institution with two years of full time wage earning experience within the past ten years in Welding occupation; or
- High school diploma and five years of full time wage earning experience with the past ten years in a Welding occupation.
- Satisfactory outcome of a background check. Employees are responsible for a non-refundable fingerprinting fee (approximately $50.00).

Summary
As a Teacher CTE Welding, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in welding techniques to students. With core skills in teaching, you will create engaging lesson plans and provide hands-on training in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Your premium skills in Programmable Logic Controllers and Blackboard will enhance the learning experience for students. Utilize your relevant skills in OSHA, curriculum development, and adult education to ensure a comprehensive welding program. With a focus on mechanical knowledge and industry-specific skills, you will prepare students for careers in manufacturing, construction, aircraft maintenance, and more. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Teaching courses form the following CTE career clusters:
- Manufacturing with welding emphasis
- Manage an active welding program with live work
- Direct and evaluate the learning experiences of the pupils in all activities sponsored by the school, and provide guidance to the pupil in which promote his/her welfare and his/her proper educational development.
- Maintain accurate pupil accounting records in compliance with local and state requirements.
- Complete all TEA approved training requirements for all assigned CTE courses.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the campus Principal and Director of Career and Technical Education Programs.
