Chavana Law, PLLC is fast-growing and located ten minutes away from downtown Houston, Texas in Greater Aldine. The firm is fast-paced with opportunities for growth and career progression. Chavana Law, PLLC currently has three full-time attorneys, and one attorney that is of-counsel. The firm is growing fast enough for the candidate to have an unlimited future in a legal career, but small enough to have a sense of camaraderie and mentorship.
The candidate will be trained on all aspects of litigation, including mediation, depositions, discovery and trial preparation, with one-on-one mentorship from the firm owner and other high-achieving attorneys.
Trial skills are not necessary, as others in the firm can take the lead counsel position at trial if necessary. Spanish/English Bilingual skills are required and not optional, and any experience in real estate related activities or in probate law is preferred, but not necessary, as the firm will train from scratch. Typical cases include real estate agent malpractice, boundary disputes, title disputes, fraud, small business and consumer disputes and a fast-growing docket of personal injury cases.
The firm is flexible with hours as you are studying for the bar and for finals, and may not require work until you take the bar exam.
