Duties: LPN
Able to
- Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file
- Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
- Update patient records in a confidential manner
- Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
- Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
- Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (Epic)
- Ability to manage airways and provide emergency care when necessary
- Familiarity with dermal fillers and cosmetic procedures is a plus
- Understanding of pediatric care principles and practices
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Experience in occupational health settings is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
