Headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley since 1996, Noel Technologies is a semiconductor foundry that delivers process development, optimization and semiconductor equipment standards and design services to semiconductor, biotech, and MEMS manufacturers in the United States.
We are seeking a detail oriented and dependable shipping and receiving candidate to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our shipping process. Your duties will include managing inventory, coordinating shipments, tracking orders, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sort incoming articles to verify receipt against requisitions or purchase orders.
- Process incoming wafers / lots into fab through count verification and color code.
- Final QA/ inspection of data, packaged material, labels and I-Track lot movement.
- Package finished goods for shipment; pack, box, wrap and strap in accordance to customer requirements.
- Package finished goods for shipment.
- Print packing slips.
- Knowledgeable of all courier documentation / forms and bill of ladings.
- Operate forklift as a requirement with proper certification.
- Operate a pallet jack, dolly and other shipping and receiving tools.
- Ensure packaging machines are in good operational status.
- Complete forklift checklist log if /when you use the forklift. Notify manager immediately of any issues that need repaired.
- Maintain shipping supply stock levels.
- Inventory / management of cassettes and Customer Inventory.
- Secure shipping area and items at the end of every day.
- Stock fab supplies in gowning room daily.
- Empty trash throughout the facility on a weekly basis.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid driver’s license / clean driving record.
- Must be able to work and process packaging in clean room environment.
- Must be able to work in a wafer fab environment and wear required gowning.
- Physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling; Often handles load of up to 25 lbs. Some climbing and balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching. Requires continuous walking and standing. Must be able to lift heavy weight: ≤ 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in a wafer fab environment and wear full cover hood, smock, safety glasses, clean room gloves, face mask, and required shoes.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be flexible to work in any traffic and weather as well as work schedule, according to business needs.
- Knowledge of Noel’s I-Track System (Custom Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Knowledge of Noel’s I-Track On-line Quality system for ISO (International Standards Organization) and entire training and tracking system.
- This position's partial duties and essential functions of the job take place in a cleanroom fab environment.
- Ability to work with a wide diversity of individuals in job related duties.
- Ability to accomplish tasks without supervision.
- Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage a number of priorities simultaneously.
- Flexibility in work schedule is required to assist in warehouse activities to meet required workload demands.
- Regularly, timely attendance is an essential function of the job.

NOTE: This position is initially offered on a 3-month contract basis, providing an opportunity for both the candidate and Noel Technologies to assess mutual fit. Successful candidates may be considered for conversion to a permanent employee status following the completion of the contract period and based on performance.
