**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Actuary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, underwriting, and data collection. As an Actuary, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial risks and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes. **Responsibilities:** - Utilize statistical software to analyze data and trends - Conduct financial analysis to assess risks and opportunities - Prepare and present financial reports to key stakeholders - Collaborate with underwriters to evaluate insurance policies - Develop predictive models to forecast future trends - Collect and analyze data to support actuarial calculations - Negotiate terms and conditions with clients based on risk assessments **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field - Strong mathematical skills with proficiency in R and Tableau - Experience in financial report writing and data analysis - Knowledge of underwriting principles and practices - Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively - Familiarity with predictive modeling techniques - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
