JOB TITLE: Office Assistant

SUMMARY: Provide administrative support to the office and assist with social media, email marketing, and general marketing duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers and screens telephone calls in a professional and timely manner; takes accurate messages with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy; arranges conference calls.
- Functions as the first contact between customers and the restaurant, providing information about the restaurant and excellent customer service.
- Properly schedule, change, and cancel reservations.
- Exercises considerable judgment and discretion in handling requests for appointments and telephone calls.
- Controls maintenance, contacting vendors, and scheduling repairs when requested.
- Distributes daily internal/external mail and overnight packages.
- Composes, types, and distributes professional correspondence and memoranda.
- Proactively establishes and maintains a highly organized filing system; files correspondence and other records.
- Coordinates calendars and schedules appointments, ensuring all parties are informed of and kept abreast of schedule awareness.
- Meets and greets visitors.
- Orders and maintains supplies; coordinates equipment maintenance.
- Performs general clerical duties, including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
- Cleans and supplies office areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning).
- Keeps the office in a clean and orderly condition.
- Stocks and maintains supply rooms.
- Cooperates with the rest of the staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Manages social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
- Oversees email marketing campaigns, including drafting, scheduling, and analyzing performance.
- Supports general marketing duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required: Excel, Word, reservation system.
- Experience with social media management and email marketing platforms preferred.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
